It took me about 2 years because I would “forget” about it and focus on other projects, but here it is. My first afghan. Just a small lap blanket, but I like it. Now I need to figure out another afghan, and if I even want to crochet another.
I get to see them on Tuesday! Using an old photo just for fun. ha Friday I got this phone call saying I won a pair of tickets to see U2 in Pittsburgh. Kim had entered 4 of her emails and 3 of mine. So I call her then, and she didn’t believe me until I played the message that I got. And seriously, not even 20 minutes later she calls me back saying that she had called Phil at home and he told he that she had also gotten a call about winning a pair of tickets! Imagine that. Sucks that we’re not going to know how good the tickets are until we pick them up. But hey, I’m not complaining! I haven’t seen U2 since 2005 I think it was. And Kim and Phil just saw them last Thursday (with Interpol) after she donated a pair of shoes. Like the first 100 people that did got a pair of tickets or something. I forget. But yeah, they just went and then a week later she wins another pair of tickets. I’m just waiting to see who’s going to be going with me. Ryan’s working, Ryno might be working, and if Ryno doesn’t go Paul says he’ll go. Still have no idea though. But I’m so excited!!
August is turning out to be a pretty good month. August 13 I am going to Honda Civic tour to see Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, and Manchester Orchestra. Pretty much only going for MCR though. ha And then the next day Kim and I are zipping up to New York for Honor Bright’s last show. :’( But I am stoked for that. I haven’t see the Sunset Atlantic boys since Oct. ‘09(not since the name change) and the Holding Solace Boys since ‘08. So pretty excited for that. I have a feeling I am not going to be getting any sleep that weekend. Oh well. I’ll sleep when I’m dead!
Honor Bright’s last show is in exactly a month.

Ok, this really made me miss them. :( But it seems that I’m keeping up the tradition of waiting 2 years between the times I see them.
So yeah, every time I see recent photo of MCR I REALLY want to splurge and go see them 3 days in a row at the beginning of May. Urghhhhhhhh. Philly and twice in NJ. WANT. SO BAD. Anyone want to go? I will chip in for gas/hotel.
